Privacy policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hong Kong Puji Electronics Co., Ltd., doing business as PUJIMAX (“PUJIMAX,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes personal information when you visit, use or make a purchase from https://store.pujimax.com (the “Site”), contact us, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the “Services”). The store currently serves customers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services. This Policy does not apply to a third-party marketplace, retailer or website that publishes its own privacy notice.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

Information You Provide

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products viewed or purchased, order number, discounts, delivery status, returns, refunds and warranty history.
  • Account information, such as login credentials, saved addresses, preferences and account activity.
  • Customer-service information, such as messages, product questions, reviews, survey responses, photos, videos and documents you choose to send us.
  • Marketing preferences, including whether you want to receive promotional email or other communications.
  • Wholesale or business inquiry information, such as company name, role, target market, expected quantity and project requirements.

Payment Information

Payments are processed through Shopify Payments and the payment or wallet options displayed at checkout, which may include Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Those providers may collect payment-card, bank, wallet, billing and fraud-prevention information. PUJIMAX does not receive or store a complete payment-card number from those providers.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device identifiers, browser and device type, operating system, language and general location derived from IP;
  • pages, products and links viewed; search, cart and checkout activity; referring and exit pages; and dates and times of access;
  • cookie, pixel, tag, software-development-kit and similar technology data, including data generated through Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel; and
  • security, diagnostic, error and fraud-prevention logs.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, fraud-prevention providers, analytics and advertising partners, customer-support providers, social networks when you interact with our pages, and marketplaces or retail partners when needed to support a transaction and permitted by their terms and applicable law.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • operate the Site and provide requested Services;
  • process payment, fulfill orders, arrange shipping and provide order confirmations, invoices and tracking;
  • manage cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges, recalls, product support and warranty claims;
  • create and maintain customer accounts;
  • respond to questions and other communications;
  • personalize the Site and remember preferences;
  • send marketing communications where permitted, and honor opt-out choices;
  • measure store performance, understand how the Site is used and improve products and Services;
  • detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our terms;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, product-safety and regulatory obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • complete a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for storefront, cart, checkout, account, Shopify Chat, security and fraud-prevention functions. Subject to your location and choices, we also use analytics and advertising technologies provided through Shopify, Google, Meta and TikTok.

You can manage eligible non-essential technologies through the cookie banner or privacy settings displayed on the Site. You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent some features from working.

Shopify Network Intelligence is not enabled for this store as of the “Last updated” date. Our use of Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and similar advertising services may nevertheless be considered “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where required, you can opt out at Your Privacy Choices. We will process recognized opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law.

Do Not Track and Browser Preference Signals

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting that setting, the Site does not change every data practice solely in response to a Do Not Track signal.

Where applicable law requires us to recognize an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we process the signal for the browser or device from which it is received. You can also use the cookie banner and Your Privacy Choices.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Shopify, which hosts the store and supplies ecommerce, checkout, security, analytics and related services;
  • payment and fraud-prevention providers to authorize transactions and protect the store and customers;
  • warehouse, fulfillment, shipping and logistics providers to deliver and, where applicable, receive products;
  • customer-support, email, review, analytics, advertising, IT, cloud, security and professional-service providers working on our behalf, including Shopify Email, Shopify Chat, Shopify review features, Google, Meta and TikTok;
  • business and marketing partners when you request a joint service or consent to the disclosure;
  • government, regulatory, law-enforcement or other parties when we believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or necessary to prevent fraud or abuse; and
  • parties to a business transaction, including advisers, prospective buyers and successors, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

5. Advertising and Marketing

With your consent or as otherwise permitted by law, we may send product news, offers and other marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing email by using the link in the message. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional communications about orders, security, policy updates, returns, warranty claims or customer service.

Google, Meta, TikTok and other advertising or social-media partners may process information under their own privacy policies. Review those policies and use the Site’s cookie banner and Your Privacy Choices to manage eligible data sharing.

6. Data Retention

We normally retain order, payment, tax and accounting records for 5–7 years and customer-service communications for two years. Warranty, fraud-prevention, product-safety, dispute or legal records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to meet an obligation, investigate an issue, establish or defend a claim, or comply with law.

Retention periods may also vary based on the status of an account or order and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Do not send complete payment-card numbers, passwords or government identifiers through ordinary email or a customer-service form. If you believe your account or interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us promptly.

8. International Data Transfers

PUJIMAX, Shopify and other service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you live, including Hong Kong, the United States and China. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.

Where required, we use legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.

9. Legal Bases for United Kingdom Processing

When United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • contract, when processing is necessary to take steps at your request, accept and fulfill an order, deliver a product, or provide return and warranty service;
  • legitimate interests, such as operating and securing the Site, preventing fraud, improving the Services and responding to customers, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • legal obligation, including tax, accounting, product-safety, consumer-protection and regulatory requirements; and
  • consent, where required for non-essential cookies, certain advertising activities or marketing communications.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • know or access the personal information we hold about you;
  • receive a portable copy of certain information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of marketing communications; and
  • appeal our decision on a privacy request where applicable.

To exercise a right, email safi@pujimax.com or use Your Privacy Choices. Describe the request and provide the email address or order details needed to locate the relevant records.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may ask for proof of authority and may verify the request directly with you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

If we decline a request, we will explain the reason when required. You may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting safi@pujimax.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
